This week was SUPPOSED to be a Quickie where 'Stina tells the girls about Nora Roberts’ Identity.
And for a solid 30 minutes? They really tried.
But somewhere between the Palomas, the wine/liquor combo, and one too many side quests…everything completely derailed. Naturally.
Instead, the ladies spiral into chaotic discussions about the SJMverse, Tristan & Isolde retellings, why Fifty Shades still deserves jail time, random book tangents, emotional support nonsense, and the general struggle of simply making it through the week.

Not every book is a hit—and this week, we’re proving it.
‘Stina, Claire, and Laurel dive into Pirate UN, an episode born from pure chaos after reading Hunt on Dark Waters by Katee Robert… and yeah, it did not go well. What started as a hopeful read quickly turned into a rare, unanimous SPIT rating (no sips, no swallows—just vibes gone very, very wrong).
Laurel experiences her first Katee Robert read in real time (and lives to tell the tale), Claire makes the executive decision to DNF, and ‘Stina rage-reads her way through to the end. All of this is especially tragic considering how much we loved Neon Gods—which makes this disappointment hit even harder.
As the drinks keep flowing, the conversation quickly derails into everything from updates and theories for ACOTAR to nostalgic dives into Harry Potter, plus a candid discussion on what makes worldbuilding work… and what absolutely doesn’t.
It’s honest, it’s unfiltered, and it’s a reminder that even beloved authors can miss the mark sometimes.

This one? Fully unhinged from start to finish.
‘Stina shows up with a dangerously strong sangria and things spiral immediately. What follows is a chaotic ride through dildo dartboard decisions (yes, that’s how we pick our next book club read now), deep dives into Heated Rivalry (book and show 👀), and plenty of Regency romance tangents—because obviously.
Along the way, we get into problematic people, questionable opinions, and somehow… the actual state of the world. We said this podcast was an escape, and yet—gestures wildly at everything 😵💫
Vibe progression:Chaos → Woke → Tired → Another drink 🍷
If you like your book talk a little messy, a little boozy, and completely unfiltered—this one’s for you.

Hold on to your tits — this one’s a wild ride. This week we dive into the deliciously unhinged chaos of Brynne Weaver’s Ruinous Love Trilogy, starting with Butcher & Blackbird. What began as an unexpected pick from Laurel quickly turned into a hilariously disturbing good time.
Think classic film villains with a dash of Dexter energy, an endearing-but-feral MMC, and a neurotic, antisocial FMC who somehow steals the show. It’s dark, it’s chaotic, it’s weirdly wholesome… and we have questions about ourselves afterward.
Grab your favorite bourbon (bonus points if you’ve got Weller) or mix up a cucumber margarita and join us as we unpack the mayhem — including why this book has permanently ruined orzo pasta and cookies & cream ice cream for us.
Chaos, cocktails, and questionable life choices await. 🎧🥃🍹

This week Laurel, Claire, and ‘Stina dive fang-first into the chaotic world of book-to-screen adaptations—the good, the meh, and the absolute “who approved this?” disasters. From adaptations that completely lost the plot to the ones that actually understood the assignment, nothing is safe from our judgment.
We’re talking the cultural fever dream that is Twilight, the adaptations that did it right (Bridgerton, Outlander), and the ones that had us yelling at our TVs. Naturally, we also build our dream adaptation wishlist—because if Hollywood is listening, we’re ready for Fourth Wing, ACOTAR, and a few lesser-known gems to get their moment on screen.
And somehow… glitter dicks enter the conversation.
Pour yourself a drink and join us for an episode full of hot takes, chaotic energy, and a whole lot of bookish TV drama. 🍷📚

We’re back with Part 2 of our Fourth Wing deep dive… and things immediately go off the rails.
Does the title have anything to do with the book? Not really.Did we actually make a cocktail this time? YES. ‘Stina brings a “measure with your heart” Mexican Hot Chocolate riff that may or may not be mostly vibes.Do we stay on topic? You already know the answer.
It’s dragons.It’s detours.It’s drinks.
We’re just three women trying to survive our TBRs, our opinions, and the slow burn of unfinished fantasy series.
Grab a cocktail, saddle your dragon, and join us for the chaos. 🎙️🍷

We’re entering our dragon era — cautiously.
In this episode, we cover Fourth Wing by Rebecca Yarros (Book One of the Empyrean Series only — because we refuse to emotionally spiral over unresolved cliffhangers). Join us as we dive into Violet Sorrengail’s brutal time at Basgiath War College, dragon bonding chaos, and the rise of shadow daddy Xaden Riorson.
As a drinky book club, we absolutely spend part of the episode talking about everything except the book. Blame the cocktails.
Expect romantasy tension, dragon drama, Xaden debates, chaotic tangents, and ‘Stina occasionally forgetting where her mic is.
It’s messy. It’s thirsty. It’s us.

Kraken Yeeting Proposals 🐙💍
This week, Stina sends the group straight into chaos while attempting to explain Demigods of San Francisco by K.F. Breene—and honestly, it spirals fast. Expect magic, romance, undead kittens (yes, really), epic battles, found family vibes, foster kids, and an absolutely unhinged moment involving a wildly inopportune marriage proposal… in a rowboat… that gets yeeted back to shore by a massive kraken.
It’s messy. It’s hilarious. It’s peak Salacious Sips energy.
Pour a drink, buckle up, and join us for mayhem, laughs, and just enough plot to keep things questionable. 🍷📚🐙

✨ We’re back for 2026! ✨ Before diving into new reads, we’re taking a hard look at… ourselves. That’s right—Bookish Resolutions! Claire, Laurel, and ‘Stina spill the tea on 2025: who nailed it, who flopped, and who surprised us all? Then we set our sights on 2026 and our big, chaotic, bookish plans for the year ahead. Expect laughs, confessions, and maybe some questionable goal-setting… because nothing says fresh start like reviewing your own disasters. 📚🥂

Because sometimes adulthood is a full-blown dumpster fire… and the only cure is margaritas and Emotional Support Sushi. 🍣🍹
This week, the girls take a smut-break (yes, it happens) and chat about what they’re currently reading — from romance to not-so-romance — while laughing, oversharing, and maybe crying into their salt rims.
Books, booze, and bad decisions? Business as usual.
